Dr. Michael Schottenstein established his outpatient medical practice in Bexley, Ohio in 2000, specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. He is board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as in general psychiatry.
Dr. Schottenstein is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is a former board member for NAMI-Franklin County. And he is a former board member and past president of the State Medical Board of Ohio.
Dr. Schottenstein graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1992. He completed his residency in general psychiatry at the Ohio State University Hospital in 1995, and completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Ohio State University Hospital in 1997. He had an inpatient psychiatric service at Riverside Methodist Hospital from 1997 until 2000, and worked at a Mount Carmel Medical Center psychiatric outpatient clinic during that time as well. In 2000, he established his private practice in Bexley.
